Watch the sizing chart on this sandal. I needed a size 12. The chart said a 46 was a size 12. When I received them, they were too big. I checked the box and it said 46/13. No problem returning them to Amazon, but two weeks were wasted. The sandal was nice. It’s just the sizing that’s off.

One size does not fit all when it comes to sandal foot support. Most foot problems caused by the footwear is not well fitted, so it is important to have to determine what type of foot, then buy the right shoes for your foot. So much is riding on the feet, do not want danger!
If you're talking about foot in sandals, you must provide adequate support for the average population and proper support to refer to what is commonly known as as "flat feet".

Not worn by son YET! maybe i’ll follow up when he wears them. The quality of these is the BEST! Soft leather, funky style. I have 2 pair of birkenstocks myself and i love them. Got them at super sale price on amazon so definatly happy up to now.

I bought these sandals because my old flip-flops were giving me blisters. All I wanted was some sandals that I could wear around to the beach! Man, I was surprized at how comfortable they were! I prefer to wear them over any other shoe I have, including bare feet. If I go anywhere where I have to were a differant shoe, my Birkis are in my back pack or in the car, waiting for my return. I’m dreading winter, because that means I’ll have to put them away! We’ll see, though. I might become one of those that wears socks with her sandals, so I can keep wearing them and keep my toes warm!
VERY much worth the money! I’ll never buy a cheaply made sandle again! These sandals are extremely well made, and the most comfortable sandal you will ever buy.

I love my birkenstocks, these are comfortable and cute. I got the red, they are shiny and bright red. The price at Amazon can’t be beat. These are a different style from my favorite two straps and very nice. The middle strap is not adjustable, but seemed to fit my foot well. If your foot is very thick it could be a problem. I think most average size feet would be fine.
