formerly had JL 707 which died of old age. like the new model JL360
although the alternating radio/time flashing is a bit disconcerting as one of your previous reviews commented. Packing did not hold up well, arrived in torn container and damaged box but product seems to be working satisfactorily.
This one is better looking overall than the 707.
Customer Review: Projection time set separately from display time
The clock is okay. The strange part is that you set the time on the display and the projection separately. That’s kind of strange. And when you have the radio on, the station appears in the display instead of the time. Not just for long enough to find the station, but as long as you have it on. I wasn’t expecting either of those “features” on the clock.

Emerson CKS3088T SmartSet Dual-Alarm Clock Radio with 4-Way Lamp Control I should have read the description more carefully - with macular degeneration, I can hardly read the “instruction”IN RED on the face of the clock itself.So I have basically retired it to my guest room. I was pretty disappointed when I realized.

This is the second clock like this that I have bought for my church. We’ve had one in the council room for 2 years now and have not had any problems with it. Our council room is in the Northwest corner of the basement of a brick building and it has no problem receiving the signal. The clock works good, looks great, and it is not that expensive.

This is one of the first atomic wall clocks I purchased and it not only looks great but it works well, too! It’s quiet and its large numbers offer easy visibility from across the room. Battery lasted over 3 years and it automatically adjusts to daylight savings time. La Cross Technology is very reliable - in fact, I own 3 other La Crosse Technology wall atomic clocks and I will come back again to replace once my old wall clocks stop working.

I was looking for an inexpensive clock with big numbers and easy setup time. This clock exceeded my expectations. All I had to do was plug it in and it automatically set the time and date in less than 5 seconds! I couldn’t ask for an easier setup process.

The projected time cannot be seen very well during the day but what can you expect. I would take a lot of power to project the time bright enough during the day … on the other hand it works great at night.

I don’t use the radio much so I don’t have much to say about the radio.

Lastly and most importantly … cannot be the price for what I got!

I like the clock and the features. Would have been nice to rotate the image to the angle of my choicing. The biggest problem is that it only lasted about 6 months then it just died. I’ve always thought as Emerson as a cheap brand, and now it just confirms my thoughts. Spend the extra money and buy a brand that will last…

Customer Review: OK radio, but AM not as good as any car radio
I purchased this radio because of the great reviews about its AM reception. We live in a fairly remote area. The C Crane radio may be better than other portable or table model radios, I do not know. However, it does not receive AM stations that our 2000 Toyota or our 2004 Chevy car radios do (even in the garage). What a disapointment. The stations I wanted to listen to are about 90 miles away. How could people praise the reception in such a radio????? By the way, I did move the radio various ways to try and improve reception. No luck.

Purchased the CC Radio because the AM reception is really poor for this area of Ohio. The reception on the CC SW Radio allows us to bring in many more local and distant AM stations even when they reduce power at night. Great Radio!

I bought this clock radio/alarm clock for my daughter. She (and we) absolutely love it. The lemon night light is perfect for a little girl afraid of the dark. The radio reception works fine where I live, and the battery back-up is great. I actually went back to the store to purchase an additional clock for a birthday gift for one of my daughter’s friends. Feedback, so far, has also been great.

I love this clock–it’s a cute and creative design, and I particularly love that the lemon slice is functional. The Hello Kitty figure makes a great snooze button!

One thing I wish this clock had is a brighter nightlight–it’s not quite bright enough to read by without straining your eyes. However, since most clocks don’t even have lights at all, I don’t consider it a significant drawback. It’s good for finding things in the dark without disturbing roommates or partners.

My 5 year old step son absolutely LOVES his alarm clock. It’s so easy for him to use and it actually works!!! He wakes up with it every morning and gets himself ready for school. He knows how to turn it on at night and off in the morning. Plus it’s “cool” too because it’s a car. The alarms are loud, but he needs that to wake up in the morning. He loves that he’s a big boy now! I DEFINITELY recommend this alarm. And the red glow acts as a nightlight too!

Great sound, easy access snooze button, 2 alarms, multi-color display. Now 18 months after the purchase, the CD door won’t open (Ingrid Michaelson is stuck inside) and the AM signal/volume slowly ramps up and down at random. Now that I see that they are $30 at an Amazon partner, I debating whether I should just get another one or something else. I bought this one for less than $30 at as a substitute for one that was out of stock (since they charged me the out-of-stock’s price), which was about $40 off back then.
