Customer Review: Good trimmer not 12ft
The unit works well, is heavy but given the length would be. On length it is not 12ft, it is about 7ft-8ft the 12ft comes from the machine plus your height, you also loose 3ft in motor and holding point I am tall with good strength to reach it out at full arms legnth and I would say max 10ft, and poulan are called poulan cos you will be poull-in that string till your arms aches to start it they are alwasy terrible starters ok when you get them running

I have 25 OAK trees that have broken limbs from last storm. The reach is high enough to get to most limbs. Little motor starts easily. Very satisfied all around. The price was very good compared to the high priced models.Delivery was very swift and easy. warning in instruction manual, for occassional use only, very interesting.

It is well made and the hinged opening gives a wider mouth to cut stems. The handle is hard with a soft black covering. I expect it to hold up to daily use. It is average size, a little smaller than my other ones.

Bypass are being used to cut anything ” green” within it’s cutting capability, and because when you squeeze and cut, the handle you pull up also rotates to reduce figer fatigue, you might lose grip when wearing gloves, so remember to use this line of pruner bare handed, cuts great under normal posture, also with palm down position, not so when palm facing up, so you switching hands to do the job, and that’s when you will find out the power gear handle only rotates clockwise, and the design is not useful in your left hand, so left hand user beware.
