I wanted a scooter to take around town instead of using my gas guzzling car. I had a 49cc scooter, but I sold it and got this instead. Even though it goes half of the speed of the gas scooter, it’s much much quieter (not that it doesn’t make a sound, it does). It was pretty easy to get together and I zipping around in no time. I’m never going back to a gas scooter or bike again.
Advantages:
No pollution
The handlebars fold up and seat comes off very easily, like a Dahon folding bike, for easy storage
Smooth ride
Disadvantages:
Not really powerful. This is for moving around town, not going on long rides.
Range. It goes 12 miles. Which means, going at a constant maximum speed, you’d get almost 50 minutes of use of it.

Great product – S. Lewis –
I purchased this for a Christmas gift for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it. It even toted my 6′5″ 240 lb self around. I only rode it for 2 mins but it scooted me along pretty good. Is very heavy as I hid it in the attack until Christmas eve. If you plan on taking it places it’s going to be difficult for a woman to put in a vehicle. The seat takes an allen key which makes it difficult to remove quickly unlike the the handlebars that fold down in a snap. Ride time is still questionable as she only rides it to a friends house and not constant. I also can’t comment on the battery life at this point. So far, so good. The instructions say to charge after every use.

My daughter got this scooter for Christmas but she can’t even ride it because a driver’s license is required in our state. I never dreamed you needed a license for this scooter and would not have purchased it if the seller had informed me about the license requirement. Otherwise it seems great but she only rode it two times before getting stopped.

Fun and fast, maybe too fast for a kid under about 80lbs. Holds a charge well and gets my son all over the neighborhood on one charge, he’s 12 and about 100lbs. I have no complaints; it does what it said it would do, reliably. Thinking about getting the smaller model for my 8 year old daughter.

I purchased 2 razor E100 scooters at ToyRus and they work great. When this one arrived we charged it for over 24 hours. Went for our first ride and it could not get out it’s own way no power very slow, it sucked. I went to web site and checked all the suggested item still nothing. I then sent an email to Razor, they did not respond until very late on Friday, and when I called back at 5 to 5pm they lines were closed for the weekend. The note they sent was check the web site bla bla, what ever. Oh and you may need a new battery if none of that works. In reading the instructions further they say if the scooter sits for very long to charge the battery every month or so to keep it from going bad. I have to wonder how long did this thing sit? The date of manufacture on the charger was may of this year. So…………. I have had the scooter for a week now and have not had even gotten a ride on it yet. My kids little ones work better. We are all so bummed we wanted to go ride together.

The Razor PowerWing is a “three-wheeled” scooter powered by moving your legs from side to side. I found that this product is quite fun and enjoyable. The assembly was easy, too, and I was able to put the thing together in a couple minutes with just a hexagonal wrench (included in the box) and get started riding.
Pros:
More efficient than the traditional two wheeled scooter, at least in comfort. Because you don’t have to constantly kick off the ground, the PowerWing is more efficient. With my scooter, I’d sometimes get tired after kicking off the ground over and over.
More stable than other two wheeled scooters and boards. Since the PowerWing has three wheels, not only does it FEEL safer to stand on and balance, but also IS safer, due to its ability to balance better than the traditional scooter or RipStik. This combination that gave me confidence and actual safety helped me get better at it much quicker.
Steering is fun. Instead of relying on steering by turning the handlebars, the PowerWing mainly relies on “drifting” the back wheels, but partly turning the handlebars, and then leaning both legs to one direction (kind of like the picture of the boy in the product description section). This way of steering is both fun and efficient, and I love drifting into tight corners.
Cons:
The weight of the front wheel. I personally think that the front wheel and handlebar unit are NOT heavy enough. Sometimes, if you drift into a corner too quick, you’ll start to tip and the front wheel will lift up, or the whole side will lift up. While this feature is a benefit for doing “wheelies” and other tricks, it is a big minus to the stability and confidence it gives riders while going around tight turns. I think if the front handlebar unit was a bit more weighted, or the whole PowerWing stabilized better somehow, I could go much faster around tight corners without crashing.
Pretty slow. The PowerWing has trouble going fast. Even when rapidly moving my legs, the PowerWing has trouble moving up a tiny sloped surface. Also, it doesn’t work too well on general rough surfaces. I found out that by taking my PowerWing to the empty garage or unfinished basement, it would go much faster on the smooth concrete floor. In general, the PowerWing is no faster than a light jog on a flat, smooth surface. It’s even slower than the two-wheeled scooter!
Weight limit. The PowerWing has been quite fun, but the weight limit is only 143 pounds. This isn’t a problem for me, but older kids or adults might have issues.
Overall, this is a pretty fun product. The only main problem is speed. If you are looking to buy a neat toy for younger kids, this is a good choice. However, for older kids and adults, this is probably not a good idea. 4 stars.

This was bought for my 6 year old daughter but the whole family has fun on it! We love love love it. The only thing I was dissappointed about was the stickers on the bottom where you put your feet were bubbled up and coming off. Obviously it’s just cosmetic and doesn’t affect the way the scooter works but when you pay that much for something you expect it to look perfect too.
